Midcentury Millpond is a short walk from the heart of Northport, one of the Leelanau Peninsula's most genuinely charming villages. It's the kind of town that earns that word. Barb's Bakery for the morning, the Friday farmers market and Music in the Park through the summer, a marina with easy access to Grand Traverse Bay, and boutiques and galleries you'll actually want to browse. Dogs are welcome everywhere, and Northport even throws an annual Dog Parade in August. Leelanau State Park and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse are 15 minutes north. Leland and historic Fishtown are a quick drive south. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Glen Arbor are about 25 minutes away. Traverse City is 45 minutes south when you want a bigger night out. Leelanau wine country surrounds you in every direction.
