Welcome to the Mulberry Farmhouse! This historic 1905 farmhouse is located just a few minutes south of beautiful Elk Rapids and 10 minutes from Flintfields Horse Park. The property is incredibly spacious including 2 living rooms, a large stocked kitchen, and a 2 acre yard to explore. Included in your stay is access to a dock on Elk Lake where guests can put in kayaks, paddleboards, or go for a swim!

This beautiful property features 5 spacious bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 inviting living rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Step outside to discover an array of outdoor amenities, including a dining area, a wrap-around porch, and a cozy firepit—ideal for gathering and entertaining. Enter the home through the back of the carriage house into a convenient mudroom, designed for storing coats, bags, and outdoor gear. Ascend to the carriage house's upper level to find a bedroom with a king bed and bathroom, separate from the rest of the home for additional privacy. The main floor of the carriage house features a large kitchen with island seating and a comfortable living room, where you can cook, relax, or watch TV. A breezeway connects the carriage house to the farmhouse, leading you to a wine bar with space to sit and enjoy a glass. You'll also find an office area with desks and a main floor powder room. The farmhouse's first floor includes a queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a second living room that opens onto the covered porch, complete with rocking chairs for leisurely moments. Upstairs, the farmhouse boasts three additional bedrooms. One features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. All bedrooms are furnished with fresh linens, and bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, premium toiletries, and a hairdryer. For added convenience, a large-capacity washer and dryer are available on the farmhouse's main floor. Included in your stay is also dock access to picturesque Elk Lake. The access is separate from the home (directions in the welcome book) but the space features a picnic table, dock, and space to put in personal watercraft such as kayaks or paddleboards.
Other Details to Note
Please be aware this home is a historic farmhouse. which means there are creaky stairs, uneven floors, and old windows. This has been left intentionally to give the home character and maintain the farmhouse feel.

Guest Access
The whole home is available for guest use except the basement (located down the stairs in the breezeway) and the rec room (locked room upstairs in the carriage house). These spaces are not finished at this time. Outside the yard is available for guests except for the 2 outbuildings, which are not finished spaces. The lakefrontage is a separate lot in the neighborhood surrounding the home. There is directions in the welcome book on how to get to the lake.
