Architectural and unexpected, it connects three floors of beautifully designed living space that feels intentional without losing the warmth you expect from a Leelanau retreat. Sleeping is easy for a group of six — a king in the primary suite and two queens across the additional bedrooms, with three full baths so everyone has room to breathe. The fully equipped kitchen makes home cooking a pleasure, and with a washer/dryer on-site and fast WiFi, longer stays are just as seamless as a quick weekend. Outside, a private yard and fire pit invite you to slow down. And when you're ready to get on the water, Northport Bay public access is just 100 yards from the back door — an easy walk for a morning swim, sunset kayak, or an afternoon on the shore. The village itself is equally close — stroll to local restaurants, boutiques, the harbor, and the farmers market without ever moving the car. Pets are welcome. The Northport Sapling is right in the heart of the village, which means Northport's best is walkable from the front door. Barb's Bakery for the morning, the Friday farmers market and Music in the Park through the summer, a marina with easy access to Grand Traverse Bay, and boutiques and galleries you'll actually want to browse. Dogs are welcome everywhere, and Northport even throws an annual Dog Parade in August. Leelanau State Park and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse are 15 minutes north. Leland and historic Fishtown are a quick drive south. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Glen Arbor are about 25 minutes away. Traverse City is 45 minutes south when you want a bigger night out. Leelanau wine country surrounds you in every direction.
