Great layout of home for two couples. I believe Jess described a king bed in one bedroom--there are only queen beds. Mattresses a bit worn/uneven. Lastly, we were unable to figure how to lock the front door. Had to exit via garage and use the opener to secure the home. In spite of the above, this is a great place, close to many wonderful spots to hike and enjoy northern Michigan!

What a beautiful Airbnb! The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We were traveling with our one year-old so having a pack and play, baby monitor, and baby books was amazing. The house is also right on a lake and we enjoyed drinking our coffee early in the morning looking out onto the lake. The location was also perfect and a quick drive to all these charming towns and beautiful hikes. We can’t wait to come back to this area and we would definitely stay here again!

The home is located in a serene setting with only the trees, sand and waves for company. A rare find with no stairs, bluff or incline - a few steps and your toes are in the beautiful sand.. Everything you need in the kitchen to make meals ; games, cards, puzzles, air hockey table for fun times ; immaculately clean, open light concept throughout , Peaceful and perfect!

This was our second stay at the Little Dipper. It's exactly a cozy cottage. The inside is delightful and well equipped; it's a perfect place to relax or even work if a quiet place to concentrate is needed. The beach is stunning; we enjoyed a light supper by the lake and an afternoon of reading. If you are looking for adventure, it's within a short drive exploring nature, wineries or small shops in the towns.

We had such a lovely stay at this cozy cabin! We were looking for a quiet place to relax and golf for a few days, and this spot was absolutely perfect. It was incredibly private, peaceful, and spotless, and so beautifully decorated. We felt immediately at home the moment we walked in. It's one of those places where you can just breathe and unwind. I honestly have nothing but great things to say. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!

The location of Jess’s house was perfect for us. We wanted to explore the area and get more familiar with it since we are looking to retire and purchase a home around Traverse City. Being located on M-22 between Sutton’s Bay and the city made it a central location to both the surrounding peninsulas as well as the towns south of the city. It’s an easy drive into the city for all it has to offer and the views of the morning sunrise over East Bay were beautiful. Jess was extremely helpful, communicative and was able to accommodate our request for an early check in. The house was comfortable and clean, the kitchen well appointed and stocked, the back yard a nice sunny spot to relax and there was more than enough space for others to have joined us at the dining table or kitchen counter had we been traveling with family. We recommend it highly for all the above reasons!

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin! It was quiet and cozy. Loved the decor and we had everything we needed. Within a reasonable distance to lots of great restaurants and things to do. We stayed in a lot, and also explored the area. I will note that the bed was very firm. Comfortable, but firm. Firm enough that it may be a problem for some. Bedding was extremely comfortable! And it was so relaxing to sleep in the loft with cool air coming in from the window above the bed. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. It was the perfect place for the two of us.

What a gem! We had a great stay at the Little Dipper. While the weather was cool, the Leelanau Peninsula never disappoints. We visited local beaches, restaurants, lighthouses and antique malls. Jess’ place was everything we hoped for: a cozy, comfortable spot to return to at the end of the day. Hope to be back again someday!

We loved the location and how the house had two living rooms and cozy spaces. One for TV people and one for non-TV people. The house was great for cooks, well appointed, and appreciated there was salt , olive oil, spices, etc.

My family and dog stayed here for a wonderful weekend. The weather wasn't too cooperative, but we didn't mind because we had a lovely place to shelter in the rain. We played board games, cooked in the well-appointed kitchen, and relaxed in the sauna each evening. Everything was clean and thoughtful considerations were made with comfort and practical items. Thank you!
