We had a great stay at the Hemlock House! It was clean, organized and had a beautiful view of the lake. It was close to many restaurants & wineries, and Jess had great recommendations for activities and places to go in Traverse City. Thank you!

The owners have clearly rented airbnb's for a while with great attention to the details! They had everything we needed and more for our two day stay. There were so many small details that I couldn't list them from the tea selection to the first aid kits. The welcome book with local restaurants and house rules was also very thorough. The linens and bed were clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive when we had a bit of lock trouble. It was a quiet neighborhood and the unit is above a restaurant. We were not bothered by any of the sounds from the restaurant, but the trash truck that came one night was a bit loud. There are white noise machines in the rooms, I didn't require it's use. Just an FYI- the ceiling fans are run by the remotes , we didn't figure this out at first, LOL! Overall, a really great place to stay and we hope to do it again in the future. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay in Jess’s home! The house was beautiful and comfortable we felt right at home. The location was in a great spot to see all the different areas and Jess’s welcome book provided great recommendations that we visited. We would definitely come back to stay!

Just perfect for our needs! all good and no complaints whatsoever. Host was very quick to respond when I had requested a date change too. We'd rebook without hesitation if we needed a dog friendly space in the area again. Thanks!

Everything was perfect down to the small touches of water, champagne, and Whiskey left for us. Place was incredibly clean and well stocked. Jess was responsive and even pulled the bicycles out for us to use(they were put up for the season)! Loved the local restaurants within walking distance, Firefly is a must try. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait until next time!

We had an excellent experience staying here during the Traverse City Comedy Festival! We were especially delighted to take advantage of the pasta and sauce provided—we were starving after the Saturday comedy show—and restaurants were closed—so an impromptu pasta dinner did the trick! An unexpected—but very appreciated—touch! We also loved having an amazing breakfast spot right downstairs—Archie’s was delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful private cabin! The place was spotless and we had absolutely no issues checking in or out. Jess keeps a welcome binder on the dinner table that goes over everything you could possibly need during your stay. Instructions were straight forward and very easy to follow. Plus, we tried out a couple of the local food recommendations and they were amazing! This is a very quiet area, the cabin was the only one on its street at the time we were there so the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. It’s a great place for a reset on the brain and I would definitely recommend staying here on your trip up north, and I hope we get the chance to stay here again in the future!

Very spacious home on the lake. Perfect for two families as the home has two separate wings for sleeping. Two living spaces, 3 bathrooms, and a beautiful kitchen. We came in the off season, but the location is perfect and you can get anywhere very quickly. Lots of amenities - highchair, board games, books, and so much more we did not use like yoga mats, pack-and-play, and baby monitor. Very clean and well maintained. Local guide book was helpful. We would stay at Jess’s place again.
