Our stay at this gorgeous cabin on the Betsie River exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious how much thought and care the owners have put into creating an unforgettable experience. The setting is simply spectacular. Waking up to the peaceful views of the Betsie River each morning was incredible, and after spending time catching beautiful rainbow and brook trout right outside the cabin, there was nothing better than soaking in the spotless hot tub while listening to the sounds of the river. It was the perfect way to relax after a day outdoors. Evenings around the fire pit quickly became our favorite family tradition. Everything was provided—from plenty of firewood and fire-starting supplies to everything needed for the perfect s’mores night under the stars. It made gathering together effortless and created memories we’ll never forget. Inside, the cabin is both luxurious and incredibly welcoming. The kitchen is stunning and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, and the delicious coffee selection made every morning even better. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring everyone got a great night’s sleep, and there were fun, thoughtfully designed spaces where the kids could play, relax, and have their own adventures. The cabin is also wonderfully stocked with board games, books, and cozy gathering spaces that naturally bring families together. Whether we were playing games, sharing meals, or simply enjoying the views, it was the perfect place to disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with each other. As dog owners, we especially appreciated how pet-friendly the property is. The secluded trails gave our dogs plenty of room to explore safely, and after they inevitably found some mud, we were amazed to find towels and cleaning supplies specifically provided for them. It’s rare to find hosts who think of every detail for four-legged family members, but these hosts absolutely did. The bathrooms were equally impressive, stocked with so many thoughtful essentials that if you happened to forget something, chances are it was already there waiting for you. Finally, the hosts were outstanding. Their communication was prompt, friendly, and crystal clear from booking through checkout. They were responsive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making sure our stay was perfect. This isn’t just a cabin—it’s an experience. Whether you’re coming to fish, relax in the hot tub, enjoy the outdoors, spend quality time with family, or simply escape to a beautiful, peaceful setting, this property delivers in every possible way. We left with incredible memories and are already planning our return. Five stars simply don’t do it justice!

We had a great stay at Hemlock House! We were two couples travelling on a last minute weekend getaway and the home fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of space and everything was clean, in good condition, and very well appointed. Communication with the host was excellent. I would 100% recommend this home and hope we can come back during the summer to enjoy the lake!

We had the most amazing stay at The Cabin on Pine Ridge! We took our family (children, grandchildren, and dogs) on a pre-holiday getaway and could not have asked for a more perfect setting! The cabin was exactly how it appears online….but even better when you actually step inside. We enjoyed every moment in every space inside and out. We gathered around an outdoor fire as well as a cozy fire in the beautiful living room. It was truly a wonderful weekend of playing games, sledding, exploring, crafting, and creating memories with our family. We will cherish our time together spent listening to great music, dips in the hot tub during a northern winter storm, and celebrating Christmas! Jess, the host, was amazing through it all! We…will…be…back!

Finnwood is the perfect location for anyone wanting to disconnect and relax. It’s cozy and comfortable, yet it’s also not too far from the adorable town of Sutton’s Bay. The hosts are experts in the area, full of fantastic recommendations for all kinds of activities. We can’t wait for our next stay!

The home is located in a serene setting with only the trees, sand and waves for company. A rare find with no stairs, bluff or incline - a few steps and your toes are in the beautiful sand.. Everything you need in the kitchen to make meals ; games, cards, puzzles, air hockey table for fun times ; immaculately clean, open light concept throughout , Peaceful and perfect!

We loved the location and how the house had two living rooms and cozy spaces. One for TV people and one for non-TV people. The house was great for cooks, well appointed, and appreciated there was salt , olive oil, spices, etc.

Beautiful house. Amenities were much appreciated. Perfect size for our family. Great fenced in backyard for the grandkids. Access to the lake was easy and perfect for the kids as well. We will definitely rent again.

We loved the cozy cottage in the forest!!! It was perfect for our annual girls trip! The kitchen had everything we needed, it was clean and organized, and very tastefully decorated. The beds we comfortable and the dining table was perfect space for a thousand piece jigsaw puzzle! Only one suggestion - please put curtains on the bathroom windows! We know its woods but it would have helped us feel a tad safer. We would absolutely book here again and recommend to everyone we know. Thank you for hosting and making a wonderful memory for us!
